Minrad International, Inc. Announces Pricing of Public Offering
Buffalo, NY (May 24, 2006) – Minrad International, Inc. (BUF.AMEX) announced
today the pricing of a public offering of 10,000,000 shares of its common stock
at $3.25 per share. All of the shares are being offered by Minrad. Minrad has
also granted to the underwriters an option to purchase an additional 1,500,000
to cover over allotments. The net proceeds from the sale of the shares will
be used for the expansion of Minrad’s Bethlehem, Pennsylvania facility,
capital investment in its new Orchard Park, New York headquarters, research
and development for new products, to pay down debt and for general corporate
purposes. The offering is expected to close on May 30, 2006.
Oppenheimer & Co. acted as lead managing underwriter of the offering. KeyBanc
Capital Markets and Maxim Group LLC acted as co-managing underwriters.
